Hi, my name is Kenna, and if you do not know me, you might not know that I cannot go a day without talking about who Jesus is, what He has done, and how He has personally transformed my life. In 2017, I fully surrendered to Jesus’ Lordship, and in 2019, I went on a life-changing trip to East Asia. This trip transformed my view of mission, God’s overarching power in all nations, and ultimately changed the direction of my life. I went during my senior year of university and was on the fence about what my future was going to look like. I had been prompted by the Spirit to move to Bellingham to join a church plant, but I was unsure. Through spending my summer in East Asia reaching unreached people and growing as an evangelist, my mind and heart were transformed to see how God was going to move through me. Within a month of returning to the States, I moved everything to help start the church in Bellingham. In 2022, I left teaching to become a full-time collegiate missionary, and now I have the privilege of leading a trip similar to mine this summer. My hope and dream is that I get to disciple the women on this project to consider how they live their lives for Jesus while being out of their typical context. My short-term discipleship mission changed everything for me, and I wouldn’t be the same without it. I am excited to witness that same transformation in the lives of the students who are coming.
