God Working in the Nations through London

Growing up I have always had a heart for the lost people of the nations. I got my degree in college in International Studies, with minors in Spanish and Asian Studies specifically with the purpose of going overseas one day. Winter of 2019 I got to go on a trip to East Asia to share the gospel with college students in a place you wouldn't normally get to go. It was awesome, I was so excited to put into practice and actually go do the things I had felt the LORD calling me to.

So when I heard about the opportunity in 2022 for our church to spend the summer scouting college campuses in the UK... I was a little confused. England has churches, and they all speak English there, why would we go there when there is so much need elsewhere? But I felt the LORD drawing me to go and went in praying "LORD, is this something I should do with my life?"

Fast forward to a couple weeks in, we are in the heart of London meeting students at the University College of London, and God is doing something incredible. I remember just on our first day there we got to share the gospel with more students from East Asia than the ENTIRE time I had been in East Asia back in 2019. I realized then that London has become a place that people from all over the world are gathering and are ready to hear the Gospel. If that was not a testament to God moving in the nations through London, I don't know what is. From that day on, my prayers shifted from "God SHOULD I do this..." to "God COULD I do this, would you please let me be a part of what you are doing in the nations here?"

So now, a couple of years later, it is my joy to get to move to the UK at the end of the summer, and to get to lead this trip beforehand and hopefully inspire the next wave of students to see what God is doing in the nations through global cities like London. Can't wait to see and tell more of what God is doing in the UK this summer!
